URL display issue

Hi, I seem to have done something to the language selection that has messed up the site URL and temp paths etc. I think I inadvertently changed something with the language files and ended up with a opening page URL: http://asapaustralia.com/index.php/en/ instead of just http://asapaustralia.com/

This has messed up my image path e.g.
The full image path being used in a module (causing the 404 error) is:
asapaustralia.com/index.php/en/images/advsearch-top.jpg

But in reality, the path to the actual image is:
asapaustralia.com/images/advsearch-top.jpg

any help would be greatly appreciated to fix this issue as I cannot set up the site correctly with this issue.

Kindly share the credentials of your site and tell me the module which contains that image so I can check.

Can I pm the password I dont want to place it in the public posts

The module is in the content-mast-bottom position and is called 'Advanced Search' The image is uploaded to the media folder

It seems the problem comes from the module 'IP Advanced Zsearch' -- a 3rd party extension, not our extension, could you try to contact its provider?

Haha.. I did contact them and they said.

I'm seeing a 404 not found error for the image you have set for the zsearch background. 'images/advsearch-top.JPG. Are you sure this file exists and has correct permissions?

The full image path being used in the module (causing the 404 error) is:

But in reality, the path to the actual image is:
Asapaustralia.com/images/advsearch-top.JPG

If you temporarily disable SEF urls, does it fix the issue? Are you using a 3rd party sef extension or joomla sef? You could try setting the full image path ( asapaustralia.com/images/advsearch-top.JPG ) in the module field to see if that fixes the problem.

However that still does not address the primary issue of the strange URL : http://asapaustralia.com/index.php/en/

It should be: http://asapaustralia.com/

It seems the /index.php/en is the issue

Hello saguaros, I really appreciate your help with this issue and I think your support and suggestions are great... but... I need to make our site as simple as possible for all of us to use and I just think with the particular template we chose things have not worked out well between the template and the iProperty product (our problem not yours). So I am going to have my associate's web guy rebuild our site in WordPress with Elementor using an Australian Real Estate plugin which works right out of the box with a great template and is much easier to use (for us) than Joomlart/iProperty. I am sure your product is great for those who have a fulltime web guy but we don't. Again thank you for your personal help but we will go in a new direction.
