Assign a default category and order to a Mega filter menu?

Hi. Is it possible to assign a default category and sort option to a Mega filter menu. I mean that when the menu will be open it shows automatically these options. Thanks!

If I got your idea correctly, you want to have a filter menu item with some selected filter options like: the result will show filter from a selected category + some other filter fields, right?

At this moment, there is no option for that kind of menu item in JA Megafilter component, the only way is create a menu item with type of URL and put the URL of the filter with above sort options

Hi Saguaros; Thank you for your answer. I used this trick already but could not do it all over the site That is why I was thinking perhaps!

The other trick is to create another filter selecting the desired category but in that case I loose the opportunity to enlarge the search and filter to the whole site.

and clarify this point as I don't understand what you want to achieve here.

Hi Saguaros. Thank you for you proposal but I decided to create a filter for each category in that way I avoid the problem I mentioned before.

My site is almost ready to be officially be put online but I still have few graphic issues.

The first is concerning the list view of the results that is still not displayed well. (See picture attached).

The second concerns a broken link to an icon (fa-long-arrow-up) that is displayed next to the sort menu. I have seen a lot this issue on the images displayed in this forum and it was like this from the beginning.

I already tried (localy not online) to change it in the product-toolbar file of the layout folder and replaced it with fa-angle-double-up. This new icon displays well but does not change orientation upside down when clicked. Could you please tell me how to solve these problems.
