I have been trying unsuccessfully to add  information to all pages' <head>

I tried editing the /layouts/blocks/head.php directly with $this->addJS('path_to_the_JS_file.js'); but error... and have attempted two different extensions but no luck. Could the template be confounding this?

The tracking <body> code is currently in this module : DC Joomla HTML Module - PRO

The <head> code is in a .js file in the /includes directory

Any suggestions greatly appreciated,
(the google UA code is installed and working)

You can add google tag manager's code into the file: /templates/gk_storebox/layouts/default.php

before the closing </head> tag or any place you want.
