Can't edit text on page builder pages with Surface Pro 3

I have just bought page builder pro having used joomlart products for my websites for many years and I thought it was time to try the new product. I use a Surface Pro 3 with pen, but no mouse or keyboard. I can select text in all my normal web pages but not new ones created in page builder. I wonder if it is because the text is in in multi layers. If I can't find a way round this then page-builder will be of no value to me.

I can edit the text styles for an element using the left side Style Manager and all the other buttons seem to work ok, it is just the inline text editor that will not work.

Would it be possible to have an edit button for individual elements to go with the Parent, Mode, Clone and Delete icons?

Any suggestions, other than changing my hardware? Can't edit with new ipad either but I don't usually use the ipad for work

My difficulty is with a touch screen on Surface Pro 3. I sometimes get the inline edit bar but only occasionally and it really puts me off continuing with your interesting product which offers so much.

My wife has a laptop without a mouse and is not touch screen and it was not easy getting her to edit a page and I think that non-techy clients will have the same problem updating text on their pages.
