Its not issue from JomSocial, the issue appear from 3rd party template overriding on the Jomsocial. check if it has same issue with Prototstar and raise a support question for template provider for 3rd party extension supports. as its working with Protostar but specific style issue on this template.

Protstar is default Joomla template and comes with every Joomla installed. You can submit ticket even without that test as its working fine already with protostar.

I dont use Prostar. I have a JXTC template Freshtruck.

It seems you have not got, every extension is built with respect to default Joomla templates. and all 3rd party templates provide support for extensions so the extension work in the templates. Now the issue on your site is not in the Jomsocial, its from template side style issues that need style modification in the template you are using.
If an extension work with default Joomla templates but not a specific template, in this case you have to submit the support ticket for template provider.
