Don't output Section 2 to non-assigned pages

Section 2 has an overlay image, but no modules assigned to it on some pages, yet it appears. See the markup. How to hide Section 2 not assigned to selected pages?

The image is on the module position overlay. Open template style layout options > edit layout > section -2 settings http://prntscr.com/tdrki9
set overlay value to None and save.

Make sure remove this value will remove the overlay for all parts of site where this position is used.

But I need the overlay for other pages. This section should not display if not assigned to selected pages.

In this case you need to make a duplicate template style and then you can duplicate the layouts.
So you have a different layout for specific menu.
