Yes please check my last reply, the issue is not appeared , please try and let me exact steps i can follow to replicate this error.

for information, I just resintalled the version 4.7.6 on top of the 4.7.7 and JS is working fine. If I reinstall back the 4.7.7 JS is not working.
So far my web site is back in 4.7.6 version but I have a playground website with the version 4.7.7 to which I will give you the access details in my premium ticket.

It is the redirect pluggin that does not work in new version

I dont want it to go to community page on login..

Hi Have re installed 4.7.7 on one of my sites that currently use for testing.

Tried again to set redirect to Home page rather than social home but still does not work

This is the same on all sites 4.7.7 is loaded on, and am using jomsocial redirect in plugins.

If you login via Toolbar module you need to set the redirection in the toolbar module options : http://prntscr.com/to6ozu

I dont want it to go to community page on login..

I change it to Home page http://prntscr.com/to6p4e

Right now we are getting somewhere.. I have set this site up like others and most I have dont use toolbar.
So not required for this test.

The problem is when logging in at social page..

so please go to WI Social and login (not on toolbar)

When logged in it will go to your profile

And using jomsocial system redirect there is no way to change this in the new version!

It does not work.. all other parts of plugin do (just redirect on login you cant change)

For this test I want it to take me to Home page on login.

This is the problem so be interested if you can do that?..

Open plugins\system\jomsocialredirect\jomsocialredirect.php
change line 106 to
if(strpos($returnUrl, 'ajaxlogin') !== false) {

save and check.

Yes the fix will be added in next update, you can use it now.

The fix does not work for me. Whatever target I select from dropdown list "redirect login", it makes no difference.
Users on login always end up at https://www.homepage/index.php?option=com_community&view=frontpage, while before update to 4.7.7. it was https://www.homepage/community.html

As a side effect of this JS is displayed in full width and sidebars have vanished.
To my suprise even rolling back to 4.7.6. didn't help.
