Change the order of the Gallery - JA Restaraunt

Hi,

I am using the gallery in the JA Restaraunt template and I was wondering where the ordering is so I can have a particular gallery article show first, especially on a smartphone. I tried changing the order in the related articles under the Gallery category, but makes no difference. Its acting like its tied to the ariticle ID.

Hi Michael,

You're right, it's a special menu item (Gallery List) of template, at this moment, it will list articles by ID, I've passed to the dev team for further consideration to support the ordering option.

Ok, thank you. I have 2 other things that I would like to address if you don't mind:

1) Is there a way to make the logo larger on the responsive (mobile) side? I could not firebug down to see where this was set. I think it is by default 78 x 50px. This seems to be set no matter how big the logo graphic is. Is their a way to increase that on responsive?

2) When coverting Less to CSS, it seems to lose the Slideshow Text setting that I change from Justify to Left. this is .acm-slideshow .item .slide-content class. Am i Missing something since I changed it in the Less and saved?

1 - For the logo on mobile view, in template settings, it has option so that you can add mobile logo: https://prnt.sc/tmyevw you can edit your logo with a bigger size and upload there.

2 - I'm not sure if you customize style for that class or not, did you edit LESS file?

Where did you put that custom css? if you added into the default css file of ACM, when you compile less to css, it will be overwritten.

The best place to put custom css is the file: /templates/ja_restaurant/css/custom.css (Create this file if it doesn't exist now), your custom code in this file will not be affected when you compile less or update new version of template.

It was originally changed in the Less file. After converting it was back to default. I temporarily changed it in the CSS file until I had a solution. I can add to the custom file, just thought you may want to fix it.

I created the custom.css file and added the following. I deleted all the cache in Joomla and browser, and it is not picking it up. am I missing something?

That works. Does that mean if I use the custom code, the css selector needs to always be proceeeded by the "div." ?

Yes you need to use the above suggested code to make it exactly how you looking for it. Use custom css file as it will not be override on template updates.
