Notifications for Kunena Forum

Notifications are a very handy feature if someone wrote me or replied to my comment on the article, or wants to add as a friend, or like my post.

Can you make this module also display notifications from Kunena forum? It would be nice if notifications from the Kunena forum would be displayed there - for example, if someone replied to your message on the forum, or liked your message on the forum.

Many sites on Joomla use Kunena for the forum, and it would be a logical solution to integrate notifications.

Hi Its not possible in the JomSocial directly to fetch as this needs core integration for the extension to fetch the data from a 3rd party extension. I will share the feedback to concern team on this.

Ninja That would be great! Because I like that JomSocial has a notification system on the site, this is a key advantage of JomSocial, and I would like this notification system to be integrated with other extensions

Hope there will be more demand for the same by users to check this as this option depend on the 3rd party extension more for integration as its not the JomSocial system to get it done.

No you can just comment here, if there huge demand, team will think over it, As it also depends on Kunena if they provide integration for it as the notification are not from JomSocial.

cnayl-rainbow I just saw that notifications work for likes and replies (Kunena forum). This is just great! I don't know when this option was added, but it works great now!

For Kunena there is My Forum Posts plugin in core to show this, if you also enabled integration plugin from Kunena it will show in wall stream.
