Some menu items do not work

On my site, some of the menu items do not work in the user profile, and these are: "Friends", "Members" and "Inbox" (menu items with user editing works correctly). When I click on them, then I am redirected back to the user profile page.

When I installed JomSocial on my site, not a single item in menu "JomSocial toolbar" was created automatically. I had to manually create all the menu items (I looked at what menu items were on the test site and made similar ones), possibly due to the fact that another CommunitBuilder component was installed on my site (from which I migrated users).

Your site not full multi language as Menu items are set to All for JomSocial so its taking the profile as default.Kindly disable the System - Language Filter plugin and check.
Or you can enable it once your is fully multilanguage for the JomSocial frontpage menu.

Ninja Does this mean that I have to create each JomSocial menu item in two languages for these items to work? Did I understand correctly?

But why then do these items work and I don't see such a problem with the user menu?

First you must have multilanguage site to use the language filter plugin.
You can make only Frontpage Menu type for multi language Not for toolbar.

Once you finish the site you enable language filter plugin. the issue at the moment is from language filter plugin you can disable and check. Toolbar can be translated via that way only. I only told you for Frontpage please read my last reply

https://documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Translate_Toolbar - have you read what is written in this manual? it says there is no need to create more menu items for JomSocial Toolbar. There is a completely different way of translating the menu into different languages.

I didn't fully understand what you meant.

Further you have not talked about the Language filter plugin yet and JomSocial frontpage menu have create it for different language yet ?

Ninja My site has wrong routing. The link to the JomSocial home page starts at site.com/community.

All links to the user's page start with site.com/profile. This is not correct routing. How can this be fixed?
Because the links should look like this:

site.com/community
site.com/community/profile
site.com/community/friends
site.com/community/chat

And the links are now on my site:
site.com/community
site.com/profile
site.com/profile/friends
site.com/profile/chat

Is it possible to do normal routing for a link on my site?
As I wrote above, not a single menu item for JomSocial was automatically created when I installed JomSocial on my site. I had to manually create each item for the JomSocial menu.

Hi again,
As i mentioned in last 2 replies its from the Language switcher module, disable it and check again.
When you complete the site as multilanguage you can enable the plugin.
Hope its clear now.

Ninja My problem with router and menu items not working has been resolved. I found the answer here - https://documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Toolbar_Explained.

I renamed the root link that was first created for the JomSocial component and chose a different type of menu there.

The problem was finding the root link that was renamed. On my site, the link for the "Profile" item was a root link, so all link paths started with /profile instead of /community.

After I made the parameter of the main link JomSocial (Home) back for the link /profile, then the router worked correctly and all the non-working menu items began to work as expected again.

But I now have another question. What type of menu should I choose for the link, which in the user menu is called "Request Sent"?

I am not sure why you are not reading my suggestion and ignore the language filter part. have u disabled it once and checked?
is your website completed for Multi language ?

I could not find the item I needed from this list. On my home computer, I created a new test site and there is this item, but on my work site, the menu for JomSocial has not been created, so I am trying to find this item to add it to the menu.

Ninja You wrote a lie about my site. It has long been ready for multilingualism. Do you even know how to see it?

The site was ready to be fully functional for multilingualism even before I wrote here about my problem. Can you read or are you blind? I wrote that the problem was in the root link, and not in the multilingualism. Multilingualism has never been a problem.

When you asked if I had finished working on a multilingual site, I thought you meant if I translated all the pages of the site into another language. you confused me. but it doesn't matter. all the works for the correct work of the sites in two languages were done long ago.

Check it now, You are using wrong Menu type as it should be same as Pending approval, I changed it and its working same in demo.

Look, in the Control Panel of my site, this paragraph ends with "pending".

And the link on the site also leads to another section of the custom menu (Pending my approval):

In the demo site, the menu was created automatically when JomSocial was installed, and there this menu item ends with "sent":

And on the demo site this menu item is correct and show page "Request sent":

You may ask the developers why i can't create this menu item now if I want to manually create each menu item?
