Where can I download the Russian translation of JomSocial?

I went to this page - https://www.jomsocial.com/translations/translations/ru-RU, and clicked the "Download Now" button below.

I downloaded a file which is 683 bytes in size. I installed this file on my test site, but the JomSocial component was not translated. This file is not a translation of the JomSocial component into Russian.

Can you tell me where I can download the Russian translation for the JomSocial component?

sabbens you installed the package with the Russian language and the JomSocial menu is now displayed in Russian in the Control Panel?

The translation is from Volunteers as may contains error that why there is disclaimer. I saw its not 100% so you need to check the backend language file to make sure all is corrected there.

Ninja There is an error in the example in this instruction - https://documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Translate_Toolbar

It says that you need to insert this line: COM_COMMUNITY_TOOLBAR_ITEMNAME
but in file com_community.ini doesn't have a single name with word TOOLBAR
in the example, you need to replace this with the line: COM_COMMUNITY_ITEMNAME
because there are names like this: COM_COMMUNITY_PROFILE

Can you update the instructions that are published on the JomSocial website? They are outdated and sometimes contain incorrect information.
also now I cannot find any localization in Russian for JomSocial (it was removed from site jomsocial.com)

The instruction are fine.
it work like this The toolbar menu item Profile
You can change the name it to COM_COMMUNITY_PROFILE

Now open the language file and define this language value for it

COM_COMMUNITY_PROFILE = "profile"

do the same for another language with a different language value name.

The RU language is not fetch from transifex due to some tech glitch i reported to team and once it fixed you will see the new package on site.

Ninja My site had an old Russian language pack installed that I downloaded about 2 years ago, so I wanted to download the new language pack now. Ok, I'll wait for the new localization package!

Ninja I have one last question about localization. Where can I find the line that shows the name for the JomSocial home page?

I found all the lines for Toolbar. Now I want to find the line that displays the word "Community" for the main page of JomSocial (this is the root page, not from the tublar menu)

Only menu inside the toolbar will work for that, As Frontpage menu is outside you can make another Menu item for different language.
