We have a private site and all members are added by staff from the backend. Currently we are adding the user in joomla and then going to JS and adding info etc. Is there no way to direcly add a new member directly into the jomsocial component?

    JomSocial use Joomla core user base for registration and after that i add the profile information, You must add it via Joomla first or you can use CSV file import option to import the userbase in JomSocial member.
