1) What I'd essentially like to do is to have a color scheme similar to palette 9, but switch the primary and secondary colors. I need red to be the primary color. But when I try to change the colors it gives me this error.
2) I am also having problems with the menu item I added (competitions) showing the drop down subitem.
3) And when I create a single article menu item, and I click on the menu link, it takes me to a blank page.

eileens Your site link and admin panel isnt accessible in order to take closer look and investigate the relative issue. Kindly review

eileens Have been able to access the site and admin panel. Can you also provide clear screenshot showing the relative error as the current one is acutely small and hardly visible

also, see menu on home page - when I hover on the item, the parent item goes white (see "competition" menu item)

Are you able to increase the memory limit on the account from 128mb to 256mb ?

      Thanks
      Paul

Are you also able to check the server error log for this site?

        It may list the problem

        Thanks
        Paul

Just to underline all the problems you are seeing are settings that need to be tweaked but without the template saving successfully the site won't save any changes made

At the moment the settings are set to hide the content area at all widths so no article content will display but at the moment the template won't save as per above - so this is what we need to fix

I will have to request the memory limit increase and the server error logs. I don't have the ability to access. Do you think that is part of the problem?
I have lots of articles I transferred from another site, too. They are all published but I can't get any of them to show up. I can't get anything really, to work correctly. Feeling frustrated.

I have just installed an extension called akeeba backup and taken a copy of this site - apologies I should have asked first but really wanted to get on top of your problems

I am able to install and get the template to save - so at the moment it looks like a potential server problem and I'm hoping increasing the server memory will solve the problem

            Cheers

I'm going to email the guy that set up the subdomain for me and share your responses. I'll let you know ....
really appreciate your help as I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

At the moment I am thinking increasing the memory is the solution - once the template is saving we can get your content to display

            Cheers
            Paul

I don't think you are doing anything wrong

            Cheers

Okay; the php setting has been increased to 256mb. He said as far as the server logs, he looked but didn't see much in there.

aman204 changed the title to Menu Color Problem/ Other menu item related queries.

              1) As apparently seen, The template settings for specific option are saving without exhibiting any error and the changes can be seen reflecting pursuant to increasing memory_session limit
              2) The dropdown menu item under mentioned parent menu item can be seen. Ref: Screenshot

My articles are still not displaying on the main content area of everything except the home page, and my other menu items do not show on the menu. If I want to change the color of the entire menu to red, should I be doing that somewhere else?
