eileens

I'm going to email the guy that set up the subdomain for me and share your responses. I'll let you know ....
really appreciate your help as I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

At the moment I am thinking increasing the memory is the solution - once the template is saving we can get your content to display

Cheers
Paul

I don't think you are doing anything wrong

Okay; the php setting has been increased to 256mb. He said as far as the server logs, he looked but didn't see much in there.

aman204 changed the title to Menu Color Problem/ Other menu item related queries.

    1) As apparently seen, The template settings for specific option are saving without exhibiting any error and the changes can be seen reflecting pursuant to increasing memory_session limit
    2) The dropdown menu item under mentioned parent menu item can be seen. Ref: Screenshot

My articles are still not displaying on the main content area of everything except the home page, and my other menu items do not show on the menu. If I want to change the color of the entire menu to red, should I be doing that somewhere else?

aman204 changed the title to Menu Color Problem/ Other menu item related issues.

eileens My articles are still not displaying on the main content area of everything except the home page

Kindly check now. Had to turn off the option as seen in screenshot under settings --> design in template style - buildr - Colourshift2 Palette 9 assigned for specific menu item

My other menu items do not show on the menu

To be precise in addressing your relative issue, Kindly inform about specific menu items which arent reflecting on the site

If I want to change the color of the entire menu to red, should I be doing that somewhere else?

To avoid confusion or ambiquity in addressing your query, Kindly provide screenshot marked with annotations squarely covering the same

At the moment as far as I can tell all the links are displaying that are set as published in the menu.

As aman said we can help in regard to the red if you can add a screenshot for the area you want to change

This particular template does have classes added to the menu links so I would suggest organising the menu content before looking to change the colour

Thank you, Joshua. I wish there were better tutorials or guides for people new to using your templates. I'm not a developer or a web guru, but I have used a couple of different templates before and am still having a hard time.

Thanks for information on the classes. Attached is a screen shot. Can you tell me what I need to do to make the text appear white, and why the tab "competition" is displaying the way that it is?

And here is a screenshot of my menu selection choices

eileens Can you tell me what I need to do to make the text appear white,

Kindly check now. Had selected specific color from Color Picker for Navbar link color and Navbar text color under the option as seen in screenshot given by you

why the tab "competition" is displaying the way that it is?

As apparently seen, Menu item "Competition" has turned into title and not a clickable link as as per menu item type selection done by you. For more information on selection of "Menu heading", You may refer to this guide

Thank you for fixing; but I don't understand what you changed to make the text white. I had already selected white as the text color....

eileens I don't understand what you changed to make the text white. I had already selected white as the text color....

The issue was color code hex which had been added was invalid as it should have been #ffffff instead of #fffffff (Notice extra digit added in the second one)

The color code hex can either be in 3 or 6 digits

          Hope this helps 🙂

eileens Can we mark this thread as resolved or you need further help?

            Cheers
            Joshua
