It seems that this issue happens on your site specific as I tested the same way but it worked perfectly at my end.
Could you backup your site and simply download T3 plugin and install it directly to your site?
Of course, I will do it. I didn't know that I can update in that more easier way. I really don't like the JoomlArt Extensions Manager, which is very frustrating from the beginning. Not only because of that error.
