Hello,

Recently upgraded to Jomsocial 4.7.6 and everything is working good except certain functions using iPhone and iPad. I tested using an android and it seems to work fine.

Issues:

  1. Using iPad Pro 13.6 software when I make a post and then try to upload a photo the "Select or Drop Photo(s) to Upload" button does not respond.
  2. Using iPhone 11 when I try to upload a photo the "Select or Drop Photo(s) to Upload" button works then when I select the photo and hit done nothing happens.
NOTE: photos are small sized 2.5 megs

Can you please help

Thanks
Rob

Can you set the default to template to Protstar and check the issue again, sometimes its template side conflict not allow the buttons respond due to conflict.

        Hi
I do not have an Ipad but i can check with my team members on this.
Please provide the screenshot of the problem. or you can record a screencast and share with me. (with details of browser you are using).

Also edit fields in first post and submit a temp super user login details for staff.

          Hello Pankaj

My apologies, I have done a update to both my Apple devices and the photos upload seems to be working now. However the video upload is still not working. The screen just stalls at the "Your video is now processing. We will send you a notification when it's ready" The video I attempted to upload was only 4MB. I have provided Super user login above.

          Thanks
          Rob

            Hi
Convert of video not related to ipad or phone. The video conversion will be done by your hosting server. If it has FFMPEG support. Once the video converted it will show on frontend.
I tried to run the Cron manually to see the FFMPEG is working or not and noticed no video is pending for transfer.
In your screenshot its showing the progress bar is not completely, can you tell me after upload the video is it showing under Pending videos in My videos menu?

              Hi
If they are in pending, there is no issue in uploading.
Once the Cron Job will run on your site it will send command for FFMPEG to convert the video. After conversion it will show on the site.

Respectfully some of the videos have been in the pending queue for 4 years or more... there is definitely something wrong. Any idea how I can activate FFMPEG on my cloud server?

              Thanks
              Rob

                Hi
If there is no video converted yet, It means FFMPEG is not working on your site. Kindly ask your hosting provider that FFMPEG service is enabled on your server and add the absolution path in JomSocial > Video settings.
