Upgrading templates to the latest version?

Hi there,

I'm looking to update a few of my older sites with their latest template versions. I've looked through the documentation and can't see any specific guides. Do you have one?

I can find the template updates on the website which gives me the list of files updated, for example gk_storebox v3.9 to 3.10 I need to replace the files listed in https://www.gavick.com/index.php?filter=gk_storebox_30&option=com_gk2_update&task=group&view=index&id=4&page=1&order=desc&Itemid=399

However that only takes me to 3.10.0 and the latest version is 3.25?

If I check the latest template 'package' gk_storebox_j3_3.25.zip I don't see a README or similar to show what files I need to replace?

Perhaps you could provide some suggestions on the best way to update these templates?

Does the JA Extension Manager component support Gavick and JoomlaBamboo templates and modules or just those JA_ products?

V3.9 is quite old version of template, you can take a backup of your site + download latest version 3.25 from here: https://www.joomlart.com/member/downloads/gavick/joomla-templates/storebox

and install into your site.

From 3.25 version, you can use JA Extension manager component to update upcoming new version.

So long as I have any css updates stored in a separate "custom.css" file I can just upload the latest version via the standard installer? (yes I'll take a backup too just in case)

Does the JA Extension manager work on Joomlabamboo templates too?

Hi martinbeaumont The same with GK, you need to have latest version of JB template first, you can update next version via JAEM.
