We've been using Jomsocial for 5 years now and our project has grown quite large. We've had members come and go. We've had accounts disabled, but all their files and account details are still on the site because they are disabled, not deleted. I want to free up space by deleting this data. If I go to the Monitor -> Members section on JS and delete disabled accounts, will their uploaded images also be deleted? Please advise.

    Hi
Delete an account option will be done by User own. We added the Delete data options in past release : https://www.jomsocial.com/blog/jomsocial-4-5-4-major-release-for-17-more-video-channels-support-new-features-improvements-and-bug-fixes
it allows users to delete their community date such as profile details, videos, status, photos, event etc

You need to Run the cron Job as well to once you delete the account on frontend via this option.

My question is, if I delete an profile from the back end, under Monitor --> Members, are the photos and videos associated with the account deleted as well?

      Hi
Yes it will not longer show if you delete it from backend too. But if there is group or events they will be unpublished and you need to delete them manually. You can make a test for a user and it will not show any activity and photos once you delete him.
