I am wondering if someone can help please?

I am trying to get the 'Read more' link working on this page: https://www.cardfusion.co.uk/muslim-wedding-cards

However, when I add it, just the horizontal line seems to appear (above the 'Like many Indian weddings nowadays' line).

Would someone be able to help with this please?

    The "read more" function works only in articles published in blog layout.
    The read more will work in category blog and featured articles pages only.

      Thank you for getting back to me. I am looking to add some information for my homepage (say around 300 words). I do not want it to be too bulky so was looking for an option whereby I can display the first 60 odd words, then have the read more option. Ideally I would like search engines to recognise the 300 words, but for potential customers to see only 60 and have the ability to click on the read more.

      Can you recommend any other options for me?
