Bug when URL rewriting set on Yes

When I set the url rewriting on Yes, I get a NOT FOUND in the pop up window

Did you renamed your htaccess.txt to .htaccess ? HERE you can find a tutorial on how to set the Joomla Seo settings.

At the moment the site is a white screen with "Error"

Indeed I forgot to rename htaccess, shame on me.

There was an sql server crash last night at my host provider so I guess the error comes from the crash, I'll investigate.
