I'm trying to find the option to create a list of forbidden names, I mean usernames that cannot be used.

Can you tell me if there is such an option from the Jomsocial component and where is it located?

    JomSocial running under core Joomla. and for registration (step1) jomsocial using joomla standard for user registration. There is no such option in Joomla for user restrictions.
    You can find 3rd party extensions on JED if there is such extension for username restrictions.

        Ninja Hi Pankaj, I followed your advice, I installed the User mail restriction plugin that has the option to restrict names, it is a free extension and works fine for me. I have restricted the registration of multiple usernames on my site.
