Change the Menu Text Color and font size

Hi,

Working my way through the Forums, Ho To guides, I still cant seem to get the menu color and font type / size to change permanently

Will continue looking and thanks for any suggestions

Hi Eddie,

By default, you can change the background, link color via the 'Palettes' settings of the header section in template:

But as I can see that you already override this by custom css, may I know how you want to achieve so I can check further for you?

Here we go, I tried the following - as you suggested.

Managed to change the menu color - see image below

Now, as soon as I add my own image, the background turns black.

Here is Layer 1 settings.

When I go to layer 1 color setting, it says none but is black. See below

Now I change the color to #ffffff, as below

What you now find is that the slideshow image is gone.

Not sure what I am doing is correct or not, please advice where I am going wrong. I just want to add my own slideshow images on a white background, my images I will be using is in images/slideshow_homepage

Once I get this right I will be adding bigger images

It looks good at my end now, could you tell me how you want it should be? a screenshot illustrates what you try to achieve would be helpful.

Hi,

I will try and explain. The following image shows no slideshow image and has a white background.

Now when I add an image, see below, the background turn to black.

I need the background of the slideshow around the picture to be white
