Template override causing unexpected results

Hi, I'm working with the Joomla (3.9.22) login module and Hikashop on the T4 blank template.

I want to allow registration, but not through the Joomla module but instead the Hikashop registration.

So I copied mod_login/tmpl/default.php to the folder templates/t4_blank/html/mod_login and deleted the relevant 6 lines to remove the 'Register an Account' link, from default.php .

All good. Except, after this the login box is out of alignment. With the fields of the form being pushed to the right.

Have sought advice at the Joomla forum, I know that this should not have happened just from removing the code from the login module, so the only thing I can think of is that it's something to do with the template.

Any thoughts?

Hi Jo,

You should compare again your override file with the original file in T4 and see what's wrong. I guess it has wrong markup there.
