Disable Virtuemart

How do I disable Virtuemart completely. I want to use J2Store for all products and checkout proceedures.

In the documentation is says
Once the Configuration is done, go to Components » Event Booking

There is no Components » Event Booking menu choice

The template support VM and J store only. You can go to Extension > Manage > Find Virtuemart

Disable to uninstall all Virtuemart extension to remove it from your site.

When I disable and uninstall as you show i get on the front end

The frontend 500 error is server error.
Please make sure you are not using the Menu with VM type and any module is not published with VM.
