Hi,
thank you for the appealing JA Alpha template. I would like to transfer the project list from JA Landscape to the Alpha template. Is that possible? if so, what do I have to consider and which files do I have to change / adopt?

It would not adapt the design easily as Project list is dedicated menu item built for JA Landscape template and there are many files you need to import and may rebuild some code as previous style code is for Landscape only.
You can find and isotop js file in the js folder of template.
Menu type project list in the html/com_content/category
The style files are customized mix code in template.css that need to be copied manually after reviewing the codes.
If you are not familiar with customizations i suggest you to consult with your developer to move these files and customized the code to make it compatible with other template.

I have a problem understanding the color control in this template (JA Alpha). For example, if I want to assign the secondary color to the acm-hero style-1 subtitle or the video button inside via custom.css, the color does not change in the frontend. Or in the feature style-2 module the button hover color change from dark-gray to secondary-color.

Each module has different style and css. If you can share a clear view which color you want to change with a page URL and a screenshot how you want i can give the style code to customize the colors.

This is the Main primary color that you will select in the template style > Theme settings.
Once you change the color the same will reflect here http://prntscr.com/vicflu

That is not the problem. E.g. In the first module, only the text sub-title (Worlds Leading consulting) should be changed to the main secondary color. The rest of the module should keep the primary color. If I assign a different color to the sub-title via custom.css, nothing changes.
