Avatar for article author

Hi - is it possible please to display an avatar next to the author name with some custom text?

Joomla does not offer any custom avatar for the author name in the articles. You can see the Author details only when it linked with a contact item and it will show his profile once you click on the name.
You can try 3rd party extension that display the Author information in articles example : extensions.joomla.org/extension/author-info-box/
