We just recently transferred a website I've been working on to another hosting account. Now on the home page "only" the logo does not show. It is there but invisible (I guess?).

I can see the logo is showing now on homepage of your site, is that solved?
Well I'll be??? Does this template take time to actually see the changes you make? Because I made this change yesterday morning and by the end of the day it still was not showing.

There is no cache in template settings.
You can check in backend of your site if there is any cache settings is enabled now.
And check with your hosting also, some servers enable cache in server side.
