Opacity of overlay on masthead images

Can you please give me the css code to use to control the opacity of the overlay on the masthead images on subpages? It's way too dark for my tastes. Thank you!

You can override this css rule:

.t4-masthead .ja-masthead::before {
    opacity: 0.55;
}

I added this code to my custom.css file, but it didn't have an effect on the masthead images. Could you please check this again? Or tell me what I've done wrong. Thanks.

I checked your site and you also have a custom.css file in local folder of JA Resort template:

/templates/ja_resort/local/css/custom.css

if you have this custom css file in local folder, you should put your custom css code into this file.

I added for you and you can see it's working now.

I am currently working on 2 websites for two different Chambers of Commerce, and have tried to be careful about not confusing the two since I have to switch back and forth. I apologize for not getting the code into the right folder and wasting your time.
