Hide User Group From other users

I have a questions regarding access rights.

All registered users have access to Jomsocial. I have a user group with Author Permissions and they are the only ones I want to use JomSocial. Currently, my registered users with Registered Permissions don't know there is a Jomsocial community and that's perfect. However, my Author Permissions people are able to see the profiles of all of the Registered People and I don't want that to happen.

How can I hide registered users from the author granted users?

JomSocial support Joomla ACL. You can open JomSocial > configurations > ACL and set the aceess to user group you want.
Further you can change the access level for all Jomsocial menu items and modules as per needs to not allow any other access level group to view Jomsocial.
