I am trying to install joomsocial4.78 on joomla3.9.23 -
php 7.2
mysql 5.649

This domain/site is new so it doesn't hurt if everything is removed - please do whatever is necessary but please tell me how to fix it because I may reinstall.

Thanks, Allen

Hi
Kindly Edit fields in first post and submit a temp super user login for staff.
Also do not post any password /username in public posts.

I left a user for you. Its to Joomla do you need cpanel user?

Ok I built a new ftp account and added

I reviewed the php requirements and from what I see they are correct. Please let me know what specifically I need to change.

I checked the user and it was set to an incorrect directory path. I corrected it so you should be able to get in now.

Please let me know what you do to fix so I don't have to bother you again if I reinstall. Thanks

User is set as requested - I had changed it on the wrong Joomla instance

Can I get a bit if help with this? I've paid for this but everytime I try to get help with the error I get a quick reply from support with no help provided. I've given all requested access.

We have not got the working login details till the last reply has been made. Thats the reason there is quick replies asked to share the working details.

i installed 4.7.8 version on your site. You can check it : http://prntscr.com/vs3i6f

Will you please tell me what was the problem because I will probably be reinstalling and I don't want to have to contact support each time. I did change the db collation at one point because I tried to manually run the joomsocial datbase script and i got and error that collation not supported. thanks,,Ninja

            Hi
It might be the server side issue as there is no fix added on your site. New version also tested before release there is no issue in installation. I installed the latest version once i got your site login and it installed fine. as suggested in previous posts you can use Recommended PHP settings for smooth site experience.
