Upgrade old Teline 3 in J1.5 to new Teline 3 in J3x

How to I update an old Joomla 1.5 Teline 3 template up to the new Teline 3 for Joomla 3? I don't want to have to recreate everything...

That's not what I need. I don't think you understood my question...

I already have the site migrated. All of the data is already in the new J3.x system. Everything is fine except for the template. The old template used Teline 3. Can I copy over the CSS files and it will just work? The old Teline 3 is totally different.

The rule of thumb is to un-install any 1.5 template and then install the J3 version

You can try with ja extension manager to see if you can compare files between 2 versions -

My suggestion is to work on local with a backup copy of your website and test the update feature - with a good editor to make files diff not only for css files
