A lot of problem after installation

I have installed the package on my test site but a lot of things don't work fine

Following the instructions to replicate the demo site I see:
- in the HOME menu there isn't the "ja flix - home" but only "ja flix .default" so it display the complete article in homepage
- I try to position 2 modules in main-section and in right-section but nothing appear on site
- So I have checked the layout but in the default layout there aren't those section
- last I have duplicated the template and I tried to modify the template adding the section not present, but when I try to save the modify the panel reload the base version

Please, where is problem?

If you are not using quickstart in this case there will be 1 template style by default.
You need to duplicate the template style and change the layout as in documentation here : joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-flix#config

Once you do this step, you can change the layout and set the position as in demo site.

The instruction described by the documentation isn't working like I said.

Please let me know in what way I can have "ja fix -home" and to save the modifies to the template.

You Homepage use Home template style with a different layout, the documentation is correct to make duplicate template style, in quickstart its already present.

kindly edit fields in first post and submit a temp super user login details for staff, I will check if your homepage is not like in the demo.

I know the style is different, but actually it's not possible to modify it like I said.

Now you have another style that you can use for home page : http://prntscr.com/vx5qr3
You can create multiple template style this way and assign them to different menu items.

Clear, but I don't understand why it didn't work with the defatlt layout. However I have some problems still.

For example still when I save the layout the tool reload the old version. It save the modifies but it's needed save, exit, re-enter, change layout, reload, and finally you can see on the tool the layout modifies. No good way to work.

But main problems now are:
I have created in position3 a video modul, owl-slide layout. I have seen that for a lot of time, but now I can see it only on layout preview, not on the page
when I click an article an empty page appear
the dropdown menu "articoli" works in preview but not on the site
the view more button in home page doesn't work

Home page layout has module positions and different compare to the Default layout.
In the demo site we used Home layout for Home menu.

About position3 kindly check Home layout does not have this position http://prntscr.com/vyois2

Also make sure you are using Home Layout template style only for Home page.

Sorry I wrote a wrong thing, for the video module is "section3" position not "position3". If you enter on my test site you can see that only the title is visible, but if you go on the layout settings preview the video module is visible.

I haven't understood what I have to check for the problem when I click on article the page opened is blank.

For the dropdown menu and view more button problems? In what way I can solve it?

Ok, solved any problem.

Two question:
- is it possible to translate words like the "by" close to the author?
- is it possible to cut left margin before the logo?
