Update after one year expires

Dear,
If someone buys the T4 page builder and gets the one year update support. What will happen when the year expires? If no new purchase is made will the existing version be compatible with future Joomla upgrades?

Once the account is expire you can still use the already built blocks on the website but can not use the Paid blocks as they came only with subscription. The new paid blocks will not be part of it. Its 1 Year Updates & Support.
