Can't find S3 content in custom fields

I'm looking forward to using the S3 extension for our site, but I'm having a problem getting it to work with anything other than a text editor.

We've built the site using fields and cannot get the images hosted in an AWS bucket to show up in either the media or repeatable content elements. Is that because these are system level fields instead of hooks into article content? If so, is there any way to override that?

We've considered using Zoo 4 to manage the content for our Yootheme Builder site, but if that will run into the same problem with finding the images on AWS it wouldn't make sense.

I'm afraid that S3 doesn't support to load for custom fields now, I will share with the dev team for further consideration.
