Issues and requests on JA Megafilter

Hi,
I just purchased JA Mega Filter + DOCman to build a PDF DOwnload catalog website for our clients. Your filter is almost exactly what we were looking for.

I have some issue, and request:

ISSUES:
- The is a display problem on the Sorting bar, please check attachment

- I would like the filter bar to stay visible, even on the details page of a document. For the moment the filter bar is not showing on the detail page of any document.

REQUESTS:
We would like to add some custom fields, filterable:
- "LANGUAGE": as we will add french and english documents, we would like to add a field Language to any documents, the will be added to the filter
- "PROVIDER": would like to add a field PROVIDER to any documents, which is the document Provider.
How can we do that please ? Is it possible to use the USER to do that ? Any provider will have a description, image, website, email, viewable on the frontend along with the documents associated to the provider.

There seems to be conflict with the style of template, you can try to override this custom css:

.products-toolbar .orderby-displaynumber .toolbar-amount {
    left: 44% !important; }

For the filter bar, do you mean the filter sidebar on the left side, right? At this moment, it's a part of JA Megafilter component, you can consider to use JA Megafilter module + assign it to position in the left side. This position will belong to the Joomla template you're using. And make sure that you assign it to both current page and menu item page of Docman.

About your 'requests', our JA Megafilter helps to filter default based fields of Docman only, however, Docman seems not have 'language' or 'provider' field as you mentioned.

Could you please provide more detail on were to place the custom css override ?

I'm going to try the JA Megafilter module + assign.

About the requests, yes of course I know that JA Megafilter provides filters for default based fields of Docman only, I've asked joomlatools.com how to create custom fields on DOCman. My question is, when I will create custom fields, do these fields will be manageable/filterable on JA Megafilter ?

I would also like to know how to auto resize documents image on frontend ?

Not sure if the template you're using support a place to put custom css code or not. Normally, JoomlArt's templates supports 'custom.css' file in which you can put custom css code and this code will be safe when you update template or component.

I see the custom fields in Docman, it looks like you have to override it in template, unfortunately, as I mentioned, JA Megafilter can support based fields only.
