Set max width to ACM Slideshow on JA Shoe

I'd like to set the max-width of the slideshow on the homepage to the same width as the container div when viewing the site on a desktop at full screen width (1170px), so that it never extends beyond the logo or gallery module position below on the left, or the cart button and gallery module position on the right. Currently, the template design pushes it outside of the container for a cool effect -- just not one I'd like to employ right now. The slideshow looks fine in other @media widths, just not when greater than the container width. I'm struggling to find the custom css I'd need to add, or a slideshow setting to affect this change.

I apologize, but I cannot provide login info (FTP) for this shared server, but I have provided admin account info so you can view the site in question (currently in offline mode).

Find this code

	<div class="wrap t3-slideshow <?php $this->_c('slideshow') ?>">

Replace it with

	<div class="container t3-slideshow <?php $this->_c('slideshow') ?>">

Save and check.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I'd like the images to be the same width as the container, but the navigation controls (forward and reverse arrows) to still be off to the side, outside of the container.

In other words, if the slideshow could remain where it is in relation to the container (not inside it), but have the same width on the images as the container, so that it appears to have a straight continuous edge, rather than bumping out to the right or left.

Is there a best way to set the width of the images based on the @media widths, so that they scale with the responsiveness of the site?

    margin: 0 auto;
    max-width: 86%;
}

it would not use the container as image use max size.
