Adding Additional Custom Positions on Outdoor Life

I'm building a site and am trying to add another strip of pictures using the "info_pictures" class. I can copy the module and change pictures fine, but I'm out of positions. I'd like to place it in the top_row2_1 position, but I also want it to span the whole page like custom5 and custom6. Is there any way to force top_row2_1 (or any other module position) to span the whole page? Or is there a way to create another custom postions that will that do in the place that I specified?

Hi Dusty,

It seems that you disabled modules in this row2 as I don't see it on frontend now.

Did you try to check the Layout of this template? By default, it has 2 positions, if you assign to top_row2_1 position only, it should show in fullwidth of this section.

I understand what you're saying and have done that, which is why it's currently unpublished. When I publish it, it does do the full width of the section. But what I'm looking for is the full width of the page. I think I show it better in the screenshot.

At approx line 456:

<div id="s5_top_row2_area_inner" class="s5_wrap">

Remove the class="s5_wrap" , this section will show in fullwidth.

You can override with this custom css:

#s5_top_row2_area1 #s5_top_row2_wrap {
    padding-top: 0;
    padding-bottom: 0;
}

#s5_top_row2_area1 .module_round_box_outer {
    margin-bottom: 0;
}

and adjust value to suit your need.

always use the custom.css that way when an update comes you aren't trying to search how you did it. This is from years of experience with shape5 and joomla... just saying!
