JA Charity T3 Mega Menu: Hover on Large, Click on Small / Extra-small?

We are using the T3 JA Charity template, ver. 1.1.2. Mega Menu is enabled and we are using dropdown, not off-canvas.

Is it possible for the dropdown trigger to be Hover for Large and medium screens, but "Click" for Small and Extra-Small screens?

In template settings >> Navigation >> Dropdown trigger : you can set to 'Hover', then on desktop view, you can hover menu item to show dropdown menu items.

On mobile, by default, you need to tap to show the dropdown, it's default feature in template.

Kindly check.

I set to Hover and desktop view hover great with slideout and 350ms delay.

On Samsung Galaxy S10e I also get Hover on mobile. I tap the fa-bars, then get my root menu choices, but hovering over these menu items causes auto flyopen to submenu items. Each submenu item requires a tap however.

I also tested back on Desktop with a Firefox browser where I reduced my browser width to 450px. Responsive works with fa-bar now showing, but same effect: hover over menu items gives automatic open without a click, and each submenu item then requires a click.

Our website currently is set to Hover. Could you please test at your end and get back to me? Thanks!

I don't have Galaxy S10e so I test with Firefox with 450px width but when I hover your site (and my local site), nothing appears until I click.

Make sure to refresh your page and try another browser like Chrome or Brave as well. Problem still occurs for me on three browsers at 450px.

When I hover over top level menu items, they are automatically opening up. But we want click only to open them up.

We want to do a click for the following:

Need to click on the three bars (fa-bar).
Need to click on the top level menu items. Example: Must click on Parish Info, Parish Ministries, etc. (Purple background, white text.)
Need to click on the sub-menu items. (white background, black text).

1 and 3 above are fine and require click. But 2) is hover; we want click.

Could you please confirm this on your end? Thanks.

This is what I can see now at my end, I tested with Chrome - responsive mode on a Mac.

Hover is only applied when viewing on large screen, on small screen like 450px, I must click the bar (hamburger) to show the dropdown menu. I'm not sure what's wrong here as it's working as you expected now.

Nothing is wrong with hamburger icon. It works good and we like it.

Here is what is wrong:

Once our menu drops down after clicking the hamburger icon, we see the list of purple menu items. If we hover over them, they fly open automatically if they contain submenu items. We do not want this. We want to tap/click the purple menu items, and not have hover open them to the next level of submenu items. Is this possible?

I tested with screen 450px, I must click to show the sub-menu items, hover will not open it automatically.

The same with my iphone device, I must tap to show the dropdown.
