            The problems I am having is I cant install the quickstart package, I have issues connecting to the SQL database, which is why I wanted to install it on my localhost and FTP it up.

            I presume I wont get the technical support from this site that I require? Or can you guys help?

              You can contact your hosting provider for help to check the database connection error for you. It relates to the server side, not quickstart package.

                I have tried this template on a different computer with a fresh install of Xampp as well, with the same error message. Is there a possibility that the template is faulty.

                  Is that computer using PHP 8 also? This is quite old template and it's working with PHP 7 only, not ready for PHP 8

                    We did run it on PHP 8 yes, but with that said we did download a new template that we have previously installed on PHP 8 with the same issue.

                    Can you guys not update the PHP compatibility?
