Light Church Update/Notice Banner

If I were to use the Light Church Template and needed to add a update or notice to the front page, how would I go about this, your recommendation without going to another 3rd party sight for a module? I tried doing the drop down 1 position and making the open tab to read, "Update Please Read" But for some reason I could not get the drop down position to work on the site. So I am asking for your recommendations, It would have to be towards the top, if not the top

Hi
As i understand from your last post you want to add a custom banner/module on the site.
You can use custom html module , add your content that you want to put on the website and publish it on a module position that are available in the template.

Ninja Wow, I know it says I have been a member since 18, but that is the new merger, I have been with shape5 since 2012. Don't you think that I have figured that out yet? The issue I have is that if I publish in the drop down menu it does not work. the open button overlaps the the menu bar and does not push the menu down to view the contents of the drop down 1 position.

Can you post the URL of page on which you have the issue present with screenshot of issue, that will explain the problem better for customizations requests.
