Avatar not able to upload for normal users

have you used the normal login i have included? there is no error messaje basically it let you load the image but wont let you do anything else in the popup

The submitted login is not working for the first login box. please check htaccess login and if there is custom admin URL submit that as well.
You must use the JomSocial toolbar menu with Photos type menu item and change avatar.

you have placed a huge camera icon on top of the avatar so people can change it from there but it is not working

I had this issue with older versions of jomsocial.
The problem was the image size i was uploading.
Minimum size is 160X160.
If the uploading image was smaller, it let you load it but wont let you do anything else in the popup.
It stopped without any error message.
In later versions the error message is "Please check the image size. The minimum size of an avatar image is 160x160."
If this is your issue then try with an image larger than 160X160.

Its not about UI its about the menu item for rout the page.
Kindly check the Administrator page redirect back to Home again.

My IP is shared IP and change randomly 203.115.73.195
Kindly unblock it asap as after sometime it will change.
Also make sure you have Photo menu items of JomSocial exist on your site. I tried to find it on frontend with test user but there is no Photo menu item to allow user navigate and upload photo.

This issue is possibly due to missing menu and wrong settings on your site.

Update: Jomsocial front-page menu item is set to super user only. Set it to Public Or registered so users can view Photos menu item and upload.
This will fix the problem.
