Blown Up Image

If I go into Theme Designer, General, and I try to replace the index page cover image, I get what is in the first attached image. I am also attaching the actual photo that I am placing here so you can see it's not the size that it's coming up as. Something is wrong with this and I have changed this about 100 times and no matter what image I place here, is blows up the image. Please look at this and fix it.

This seems a bug, let me check it with dev team on Monday once team back.
Meanwhile you can replace this image /components/com_community/assets/frontpage-image-default.jpg
with your image, use the same name and file type.

I will try and do this myself, but it when you look at it on Monday and if it's not done, it's because I could not do it.

I was able to find this file but it was in three different locations. Please see the attached image that indicates the exact location for all three. None the less, I replaced this image in all three locations. I no longer will have the JomSocial default image, but I may not need it. Either way, after replacing the default image in all three locations, I searched again and the new image was in all three locations, but, the WrongImage is still coming up on my site. See attached.

		 Lastly, this is the image that I am trying to upload to my site.  See attached.

No, it's not showing the same image. The image is all stretched out. Look at it. It's not he same size at the image I sent you and no matter what I place here, it does the same thing to the image and stretches out the hight of the image and distorts it. Please take a look and fix this.

The image load in the background and size will change depend on the image resolution and size of the container.
For example in the demo we used image size : 1140x469px
On your site the image used is too big in height 1000px x 1000px

I'm experiencing similar issues when replacing default cover images on the back-end. Image scaling is not working correctly. I've tested this with the front page image and all covers... Same results for all.

Kindly replace the original image as i shared in the suggestion above. and use the image size : 1140x469px
If there is any issue, open a new thread and submit the site details in edit fields for staff with problem replicate steps.

I am having the same problem. Any image that I put in there at the demo size of 1140px x 469px will get blown up (like you are looking through a magnifying glass).

I even tried putting back the default JomSocial Frontpage image (1140x469), and that got blown up too.

It seems that once you replace the default image, any image regardless of size or filetype will get blown up. That happens even if you place the original JomSocial Frontpage image back in there.

Is there a fix to this?

No, it's not okay. I don't understand this. I am not starting a new thread for the same problem. I have been asking for help on this for several weeks now. Look at the first attached image. This is what this image looks like inside the back-end/admin side of my site.Tell me this looks right to you. If you say it does, you need glasses.

Now look at the exact image I uploaded into this module and tell me that this looks like the image I just sent you. If you think these look the same, give me back my money because this is bull-crap.

Now, fix this and fix it now. I am sorry, but this is bullshit. IT's not working. I upload an image and it stretches the image out and distorts it. Just go in and look at it. Load an image yourself and watch it do it to your image. Just fix it!

The image you are using is still same http://prntscr.com/xam6r3 Image loads in the background and it will be like this as 1000px height can not fit in a 419px container height

No, it makes no sense at all. Look, I have been using this JomSocial for over 5 years and have loaded many images into this location and I have never had this problem. No, this image height is not 1000 px. The height of the image I attached here and sent to you is only 420 px in height. Look, I think you don't know what you are doing and you need to escalate this ticket to someone that knows what they are doing. This dumb ass problem has been going on for weeks and you are now costing me money and members. I want a new tech person to look at this because you obviously don't know what you are doing. Look, open this admin section of MADD Talent up yourself and place a new image in this holder. I gaurantee it will come in all fucked up. Damn. I am sorry but I am pissed off because you are just not listening. LISTEN TO ME AS I KNOW WHAT THE HELL I AM TALKING ABOUT. This is fucked up somehow and you need to fix it. Fix this now or give me back my money.

Since i do not have your site access i am unable to check this image for you.
You can replace it and check, above screenshot is for proof that if you replace the image it will work as expected.

I am not trying to abuse anyone. All I am trying to do is get you to pay attention. NO MATTER WHAT IMAGE I LOAD INTO THE THEME DESIGNER IMAGE HOLDER FROM THE BACK END, IT STRETCHES OUT THE PICTURE. IN SIMPLE TERMS, THIS IS MESSED UP.

GO INTO THE BACK END OF MY SITE AND FIX THIS PLEASE OR AT LEAST TRY IT SO YOU CAN SEE THAT SOMETHING IS MESSED UP IN THE PROGRAMMING. THIS IS NOT ME. THIS IS SOMETHING WITH YOUR SOFTWARE AND I DON'T CARE IF I AM THE ONLY ONE COMPLAINING. IT'S BROKEN ON MY END.

TAKE ANY IMAGE YOU LIKE, EVEN THE DEFAULT IMAGE THAT COMES WITH JOMSOCIAL AND PLACE IT INTO THE HOLDER AND YOU WILL SEE FOR YOURSELF.

PLEASE TAKE 2 MINUTES AND LOOK AT THIS FOR ME AND IF POSSIBLE, FIX IT!

It seems you still not reading our replies. Via admin panel options there is issue to load the images that is why i asked you to directly replace the frontpage image from images folder.

I just followed your instructions and now on the front side of my website, www.madd-talent.com, the image is exactly what I want. However, please look at the back-end image that I am attaching. This is how the image looks from the back-end. I don't plant to change it, but this tells me something is wrong. Please look into this for me and thank you for sticking with me on this one. If you look at it there, you will see the image is not only wrong, but stretched out vertically in a horrible way.
