JA News Pro module - K2 category order hardcoded by "Cat ID"

Hi there!
Please show me how to set the module's Category order to anything else then the K2 Category ID.
Ordering manually would be the only logical and acceptable order at Categories...

This is quite old module and it supports that order at this moment only. I will forward to the dev team for further review.

A temporary solution is to recreate Categories by the desired order so you get new Categories with new ID numbers. Annoying job with moving the corresponding items and setup all the other menu items and modules affected with the new categories.

I am really curious about the dev team member who found this ordering. 😉

To be honest, there is still no plan to update as this is quite old module.

It would have been a totally faulty idea even in the last century.
I am not able to follow the coder who did it. 🙂
