Yes i tried it there too and same issue.

Here are the steps to replicate:

1) Login to https://js-main.demo.jomsocial.com/administrator

2) Go to jomsocial video settings

3) Enable Show Video Map

4) Select Open videos in Same window.

5) Save and clear cache
6) Login to https://js-main.demo.jomsocial.com
7) Go to Videos > My Videos and click Add Video

8) Fill out all fields and click Link Video

9) Go to video page and you see the map of location and also the text link of Location

10) Click on text link of Location. The text link is not working.

11) Go to Home page and find the post for video added.

12) Click on text link of Location. The text link is not working.

FYI it used to work fine with previous versions of jomsocial.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

as i saw in jomsocial CHANGE LOG of 4.7.9 in Bug Fixes you have fixed the Video map location : Add a location on Video giving map error when click.

I thought this would be the fix of my issue I've described in previous messages here,but no. The issue is still there in your demo jomsocial site and also in my site after upgrading jomsocial to 4.8.

Could you please check it again and try to fix it?

No, it is not working. Check another videos location.
Even in your jomsocial demo is not working.
You can see it if you follow the steps to add a video.
I copy-paste from previous message.

Again the issue is not found so please check your site first

The demo also has the testing Map key so can not give full test there, It would be better if you can share me the URL of video of your site where it is not working and i will raise to dev team member.

When you open the video this show only name of location it is normal as map can not be loaded there.

1) Login to either my staging or live site

2) Go to Videos > My Videos and click Add Video

3) Pate a video URL, fill out all fields like Location, and click Link Video

4) Go to video page and you see the map of location and also the text link of Location

5) Click on text link of Location. Blank map pops up.

6) Go to Home page and find the post for video added.

7) Click on text link of Location. Blank map pops up.

Kindly read my post carefully first as you seems not full reading message and sending same steps that i already have before.
Here is how Google map picks. when you added video via Home page it allow you add location as Google map use own longitude and latitude. So when you post video via video page it add the location as text not like when you posting on main stream so there is no location value there.

You can see both example in your staging site, It would not be same if you post as location text as Google can not pick same value there.
In 4.7.9 the issue was no location is showing when you post and it is indeed fixed.

About this part it could not be possible as no values are there. I will share the feedback to dev team on this.

I do read your messages carefully. From your answer i see that you found the problem i tried to explain in this support ticket since 12th of January. So i'll use your words:

The issue:
When a user adds a video via video page and types a location, or uses the edit button of a video and changes the location, then Google can not pick the location like when a user posts the video on main stream. As a result there is no location value, and the Location link (either in video's page or videos main stream post) pops up a blank map.
