Overrides not applied

Dear All,
I'm trying to make some overrides but without success. It seems I'm not able to see any changes. To test I create in the folder of the overrides an empty style.css to see if worked, but without success.

I Attach the Jomsocial template selection and the snap of the style.css overrides position.

Hi
JomSocial theme and a Joomla template both are different things.
Kindly set the JomSocial as default theme. If you are creating a custom JomSocial theme this doc may helps you better : documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Customizing_Template

thanks for your reply. I also made what driven in the jomsocial official description but without success.
Creating the templates/jomsocial/html/com_community/css/ (was not present before) , in the jomsocial backend list of templates I have now 2 jomsocial.
Setting one as default are set as default, but sill not having effect in the frontpage. I put alway an empty style.css to test the overrides.

I also set jomsocial as default in the JS backend and put the style.css in the templates/ireview3/html/com_community/css/ but same effect. I suppose this is the right way to use JS overrides.

It will be like this
JOOMLA/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/frontpage/base.php
In your template the path is as below:

JOOMLA/templates/yourTemplateName/html/com_community/layouts/frontpage/base.php
Use the same path for the files from com_community template folder.
If you have css changes based on your template you can override them via custom.css file if its supported in your template.

I got the point. Using the Jreviews Ireview3 overrides it works.
