T4 menu problem on mobile phones

T4 Blank and Ja Stark, as well as Ja Tour, have menus that work differently on Samsung Android phones. For T4 Blank and other templates also in your gallery, once you click on a menu item the submenu opens but it is not possible to close the dropdown by clicking on the menu item again, while on Ja Stark and Ja Tour it is possible.
The difference is due to the base.js file (pugins> system> t4> themes> base> js> base.js) which is different from lines 98 to 111.
I could modify the base.js file but how can you solve and have the behavior of the Ja Stark and Ja Tour menu without subsequent updates overwriting that file?

No, Ja Stark is fine, tapping on the menu item (Pages, for example) opens the dropdown submenu and clicking again on the main menu item "Pages" closes the submenu. It doesn't work like that and the submenu doesn't close with T4 Blank, but also with Ja Educatsy and other templates. You can also try it with Firefox View Mode or Android phones.
Looking through the various files to understand why such a different behavior, I found that a part of that base.js file is different.
