Portfolio and horizontal accordion not working

Hi,

I tried using multiple S5 templates all of them have kinda the same bug. I attached the pictures. Portfolio is not working as overlay and horizontal accordion not showing pictures no matter what. Using Joomla 3.9.24 with PHP 7.4.13
i only use local VM to build up a website and later only a finalized version will get online so i cant share login informations.
Im also using mysql 5.7.32 if thats relevant.
I also get 500 Internal Server Error if i try to use quickstart templates but a clean joomla intsall with separately installing clean templates are working so im not sure whats the problem.

Which template you are trying to have issue like you mentioned? I will try in my local and see how it goes.

saguaros Attractions and just for testing reason i tried it with M Creative Agency and it had the same "overlay error"

I just downloaded quickstart package of S5 Attractions template from here: https://www.joomlart.com/member/downloads/shape5/joomla-templates/s5-attractions

and install with PHP 7.4 but it looks fine:

Just out of curiosity, if you do a fresh latest clean joomla install (not an updated older one) and install the template and extensions separately are you gonna have the same effect what i have or its working for you as well?

I did nothing custom with the template, at this point maybe my VM LAMP have something but i just cant think of a problem which messing with an "overlay css / js"

Or you need, I can share with you a backup of the site I installed in my local (which is working with PHP 7.4).
