JA Megafilter Indexation is not working anymore

We are using JA Megafilter to search for Joomla articles with search instances based on Joomla fields. We have 2737 items in the data base. A year ago, indexation started not to work anymore, resulting in a page missing error. Using the Cron task link to run indexation enabled us to proceed to indexation. SInce recently, the Cron task solution does not work anymore : it performs ("Cron done" displays) but without indexing the recent items. Curiously enough, on a local version of the website indexation works fine. We have increased all php parameters (max_execution_time = 300, max_input_time=600, max_input_vars= 10000, memory_limit=2G, etc) of the Apache server of the production site but with no success. Would you have any comments to advise us?
