customising css

hello, i am new in joomlart .
I'd like to ask you which is the best way to customise css in JA templates.
I download JA_morgan and I'd like to make simple changes for example change head-menu color (which i didnt find in theme magic tool)...or change logo min-height etc

is there an empty .css file that i can use for my custom changes, which will not be affected after an update.

You can use inspect element tool from browser to check the style classes used and override them via custom css in template
Example http://prntscr.com/xoogf1
Path : /templates/ja_morgan/css/custom.css

If file is not present kindly create it.
