JA simpli update 1.0.3 deletes custom.css

Today I updated JA simpli from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3. This update killed the custom.css-file where all my css-hacks have been! Fortunately, after a rollback to 1.0.2 the custom.css is there again. So... what do you suggest? Where should I include my css-customizations? I always thought that's what a "custom".css is good for and it is "update-proof"...

Custom.css file should be not updated with the template upgrade , i reported this to our devs so they can take a look at it -

As I read in an old forum post from December '17, formerly the custom.css was overwritten by updates like 1.0.2. Now, the update to 1.0.3 deletes the custom.css ... what is not a fix... the result is the same.
So where is it save to I do my css-customizations from now on? May I put my backuped custom.css back into the css-directory and you leave it alone in future updates?

You can continue to use the custom.css since the update had inside it an empty custom.css file that overrided your- This was a mistake in the release and it should not happen again -
